Utah’s Ballerina Farm Co-Founder Reveals Daily Life Secrets
UPDATE: Hannah Neeleman, co-founder of the popular Ballerina Farm, shared an intimate look into her daily life, captivating her 21 million followers on Instagram and TikTok. The 328-acre farm in Utah, known for its sustainable practices, is a significant part of her family’s lifestyle and business.
Just moments ago, Neeleman detailed her routine, revealing how she balances her family life with running a thriving agricultural business. This insight comes as more people seek connections with their food sources and the farm-to-table movement gains momentum.
Each morning, she begins her day around 7 a.m. when her two youngest children wake her with excitement. This family-centric approach is core to the Ballerina Farm ethos, where Neeleman and her husband, Daniel, have integrated their eight children into their daily operations. The couple founded Ballerina Farm about eight years ago, aiming to create a business that allowed them to work closely with their family and avoid traditional childcare solutions.
Their journey began in 2017 with just four free-range pigs in Spanish Fork, Utah. Fast forward to today, Ballerina Farm now employs around 100 people, showcasing the rapid growth and community support they have garnered.
Neeleman’s day involves a blend of family, fitness, and business. After getting her children ready for school, she dedicates time to respond to pressing messages and fit in workouts at the barn gym. “If I can get a good workout in, then my whole day is better,” she explained.
Tuesdays are particularly busy, filled with recipe testing for content creation. “I love being creative,” Neeleman stated, emphasizing how the changing seasons inspire her cooking and content. With plans to film a cooking reel, she spends hours preparing elaborate meals—an endeavor that connects her to the farm’s fresh produce.
Lunch, typically around 1 p.m., is a family affair, echoing traditions from her time in Brazil. “We try to gather for a big meal,” she said, highlighting the importance of family togetherness.
The Neeleman family’s commitment to their values extends into their evenings. After a day of farming and content creation, they engage in scripture study with their children, reinforcing their faith as a guiding force in both business and family life.
Before heading to bed around midnight, Hannah dedicates time to editing and skincare. She’s passionate about her nightly routine, using tallow-based products to nurture her skin. “This is serious, we got to step up our game,” she remarked, highlighting her focus on self-care amidst a busy lifestyle.
The Ballerina Farm’s growth reflects a broader trend towards agritourism and sustainable living, as families increasingly seek meaningful connections to their food. Neeleman aims to foster this connection, hoping to inspire others to adopt self-reliant practices in their own lives.
With a vision of creating a legacy, the Neelemans are not merely building a business; they are cultivating a community around the principles of sustainability and family engagement. As they navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship, their story resonates with many seeking a more grounded lifestyle.
Stay tuned for more updates from Ballerina Farm as they continue to inspire families worldwide through their journey in agriculture and community building.
