New Trailer for ‘Mother of Flies’ Unveiled Ahead of 2026 Premiere
BREAKING: The highly anticipated trailer for the horror film Mother of Flies has just been released, promising a chilling experience for fans. Set to premiere on the horror streaming service Shudder on January 23, 2026, this film marks the latest project from the indie film-makers known as the Adams Family.
In a gripping storyline, we follow young Mickey, who faces a devastating terminal diagnosis. Desperate to defy death, she turns to a local witch named Solveig, who claims she can save her. Mickey’s father, Jake, reluctantly agrees to the witch’s help despite his doubts. The trailer reveals their harrowing journey through three days of twisted and gruesome rituals, underscored by Solveig’s ominous words: “to rule death, one must love it…lie with it.”
As the trailer unfolds, viewers are met with horrifying imagery—writhing maggots, desiccated corpses, and shocking scenes that raise the stakes of their dark bargain.
The film is a collaborative effort from John Adams, Zelda Adams, and Toby Poser, who directed, wrote, and produced the movie. The cast includes Lulu Adams, James Lindsay, Noble Wilson-Eiden, and Jessica Beveridge, with a score by the family band, H6LLB6ND6R.
This film has already made waves, premiering at Fantastic Fest last summer, where it received raving reviews and currently boasts a 100% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Adams Family is no stranger to the horror genre, with their previous hit Hellbender capturing audiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their unique approach to filmmaking and storytelling continues to resonate, as seen in their previous works like The Deeper You Dig and Where The Devil Roams.
As fans eagerly await more updates, this trailer is sure to ignite discussions across social media platforms. Get ready for an unforgettable horror experience with Mother of Flies—mark your calendars for January 23, 2026, and prepare for the unexpected horrors that await. Stay tuned for further developments as we approach the release.
