Columbia Heights Community Grieves as Jermaine McGee-Holmes Dies

URGENT UPDATE: The Columbia Heights community is in shock as 27-year-old Jermaine McGee-Holmes has succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained in a violent incident last Saturday. Authorities confirm that he was found semi-conscious in an apartment building on the 3200 block of Hiatt Place, Northwest, following a 911 call.

Despite the rapid response from DC Fire and EMS, who transported McGee-Holmes to a local hospital, his injuries were too severe. Tragically, he was pronounced dead two days later, on Monday, as he fought for his life.
