Armed Suspect Attempts to Disarm Deputy at Saratoga Library

UPDATE: An urgent incident unfolded at the Saratoga Library on Saratoga Avenue as deputies responded to a disturbance involving a violent suspect. On November 19, the individual allegedly struck two library staff members before fleeing the scene on a bicycle. Shortly after, deputies located the suspect, who was committing a traffic violation, and made the stop.

During the investigation, deputies discovered that the suspect had an outstanding warrant. In a shocking turn of events, the suspect resisted arrest and attempted to disarm a deputy by reaching for their firearm.
