2025 All-Bay County Volleyball Team Announced: Top Players Revealed

BREAKING: The highly anticipated 2025 All-Bay County Volleyball Team has just been announced, showcasing the standout players from Bay County’s top high schools. Selected by head coaches from schools including Bay City Central, Bay City Western, John Glenn, Essexville Garber, Pinconning, and Bay City All Saints, this year’s team highlights exceptional talent and remarkable statistics.

JEANA LENHARD of Essexville Garber leads the list, having been named the 2024 Bay County Offensive Player of the Year and achieving first-team honors in the Tri-Valley Conference Red. Lenhard dominated the season, averaging an impressive 5.30 kills and 0.700 aces per game, solidifying her status as a top performer.

Joining her is MIA JANICKE from Bay City Western, recognized as an honorable mention in the Saginaw Valley League with an average of 3.61 digs per game, showcasing her defensive prowess.

ELLA KOKALY, also from Essexville Garber, not only earned first-team honors in the Tri-Valley Conference Red but was also named the 2024 Bay County Co-Setter of the Year. Her average of 8.07 assists per game was the best in Bay County, making her a pivotal player for her team.

Other notable selections include LAURYN BITZER from John Glenn, who achieved first-team status with averages of 2.84 kills and 3.15 digs per game, and GALI COSTILLA from Bay City All Saints, who made first-team in the Big Thumb Conference Red with an average of 4.01 digs.

Several other players made significant contributions to their teams, including:

• EVIE ENGELHARDT – Second-team all-Tri-Valley Conference Red, with 1.51 kills and 0.650 aces per game.
• ADDISON LEWANDOWSKI – Second-team all-Saginaw Valley League, averaging 2.14 kills and 3.03 digs per game.
• ELIZABETH VANHORN – Honorable mention, noted for 4.49 digs per game, the best in Bay County.

Ava Wagner, Val Costilla, and Layla Foco also made impactful contributions, showcasing the depth of talent in the area. This year’s team exemplifies the spirit and skill of Bay County volleyball, marking a significant moment for fans and players alike.
