Bills Surge to No. 1 in NFL Week 10 Power Rankings After Key Win
The Bills have taken the top spot in the latest NFL Week 10 Power Rankings following a hard-fought 28-21 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on November 5, 2025. This crucial win not only improves the Bills’ record to 6-2 but also positions them strongly for the playoffs as they continue to showcase a formidable offense and a resilient defense.
The power rankings offer a comprehensive overview of each team’s current standing, factoring in a variety of metrics beyond just win-loss records. These include player and team grades, offensive and defensive efficiency, performance from previous seasons, and the strength of schedule. Consequently, some teams with poorer records may rank higher due to their more challenging opponents or stronger overall performances.
Top Teams and Their Prospects
The Bills now hold a remarkable 97% chance of making the playoffs and a 16% chance of winning the Super Bowl. Their recent performance against the Chiefs highlighted their offensive capabilities, as they amassed 404 yards and scored four touchdowns. Defensively, the Bills successfully contained a Chiefs offense that has been potent in recent weeks.
In contrast, the Chiefs’ performance dipped, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes posting one of his least efficient games. Completing only 15 of 34 passes for 250 yards and an interception, the Chiefs now sit at 5-4, facing challenges to secure a tenth consecutive AFC West title.
The Los Angeles Rams have also climbed the rankings, moving to third place with an 86% chance of making the playoffs. They have demonstrated dominance recently, with a staggering +66 point differential over their last three games. Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw four touchdown passes against the New Orleans Saints, leading the Rams to a convincing victory.
The Green Bay Packers, now ranked fourth, are in an interesting position. Despite their strong record of 5-2-1, there are concerns regarding their ability to compete against stronger teams after a surprising loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.
Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens are gaining momentum, bolstered by the return of quarterback Lamar Jackson, who threw four touchdowns in a 28-6 victory over the Miami Dolphins. The Ravens are now 3-5 and have entered the playoff conversation.
Teams on the Rise and Fall
The Detroit Lions faced disappointment with a loss to the Minnesota Vikings, falling to 5-3. Their offensive struggles were evident, averaging just 3.2 yards per carry against a resurgent Vikings defense.
The Seattle Seahawks, however, made a statement with a 38-14 victory over the Washington Commanders, showcasing an impressive passing performance by quarterback Sam Darnold. This win has put the Seahawks firmly in playoff contention with a 6-2 record.
Other notable movements include the Philadelphia Eagles, who maintained their position despite a bye week, and the Denver Broncos, who remain competitive in the playoff race. The Broncos secured a narrow 18-15 win over the Texans, improving their record to 7-2.
At the lower end of the rankings, the Miami Dolphins continue to struggle, now at 2-7 after their recent loss, leading to organizational changes including the firing of general manager Chris Grier. The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets also languish at the bottom, facing uphill battles to remain relevant in the playoff picture.
As the season progresses, these power rankings reflect not only current standings but also the shifting dynamics and future potential of each team, setting the stage for an exciting remainder of the NFL season.
