Carrot Collaborates with ŌURA and Dexcom to Enhance Fertility Care
Carrot, a global platform focused on fertility and family care, has announced a strategic partnership with ŌURA, known for its smart ring technology, and Dexcom, a leader in glucose biosensing. This collaboration aims to enhance fertility and family-building efforts through Carrot’s clinically-backed metabolic-fertility program, known as Sprints.
Innovative Integration of Biometric Data
This partnership introduces a pioneering integration with Stelo by Dexcom, an FDA-cleared glucose biosensor that is available without a prescription. Members enrolled in Carrot’s program will have access to integrated data from both the ŌURA Ring and Stelo. This technology enables users to monitor critical biometrics while receiving expert clinical support from Carrot’s team.
The Sprints program targets common metabolic health issues that can impact fertility, such as obesity, blood sugar dysregulation, and sperm damage. By utilizing data from wearable technology, Carrot’s clinical professionals are equipped to interpret ŌURA and Stelo data, transforming raw biometric information into personalized and evidence-based care plans.
These integrated data streams provide a comprehensive overview of metabolic-fertility health, allowing users and their healthcare teams to analyze key factors, including:
- Menstrual cycle patterns and identification of fertile windows
- Sleep quality and stress management
- Activity levels and glucose trends
Supporting the Path to Parenthood
For individuals in the pre-pregnancy phase, referred to as “Premester,” this holistic view of health is crucial for enhancing outcomes. Members can also benefit from one-on-one support with a Carrot nutritionist, alongside real-time data tracking through the ŌURA Meals feature. This combination offers insights into how lifestyle choices affect metabolic health and readiness for conception.
Participants in the Sprints program will receive ŌURA Ring devices and Stelos beginning in November 2025, with complete data integrations between Carrot, ŌURA, and Dexcom expected to be available in early 2026. This partnership sets the stage for future expansions, with plans to incorporate wearable technology support across all life stages served by Carrot.
Hilary Bartlett, Chief Product Officer of Carrot, emphasized the importance of combining data with expert guidance: “Putting data in the hands of our members is an important first step, but it needs to be paired with actionable support from experts to improve health outcomes.” This initiative represents a significant advance in personalized fertility care, reflecting a growing trend towards integrating technology and health expertise to foster improved reproductive health.
