Star Cast Set for Teatro dell’Opera di Roma’s ‘Tosca’ Broadcast

Rai Cultura and Rai 3 will present a highly anticipated broadcast of Giacomo Puccini’s opera “Tosca” from the prestigious Teatro dell’Opera di Roma on November 1, 2025. This production marks a significant celebration, coinciding with the 125th anniversary of the opera’s debut, and will showcase a distinguished cast led by Eleonora Buratto in the title role.

Joining Buratto are Jonathan Tetelman as Cavaradossi and Luca Salsi as Scarpia, promising to deliver an unforgettable performance. The ensemble cast will also feature Gabriele Sagona as Angelotti, Domenico Colaianni as Sagrestano, and Matteo Mezzaro as Spoletta. Conducted by Daniel Oren, the production is directed by Alessandro Talevi and is a reconstruction of the opera’s original 1900 production.
