This unique showcase invites collectors and enthusiasts to explore nearly a century of innovative watchmaking, highlighting the brand’s pioneering spirit and redefining the concept of a sports watch.
Exploring the Evolution of Sports Watches
The collection traces the remarkable evolution of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s sport watches, beginning with military precision instruments from the 1940s. Visitors will experience a timeline that includes daring dive watches from the 1960s, vibrant designs of the 1970s, and the technically sophisticated Master Compressor creations of the 2000s. Each segment of the collection represents a significant shift in design and functionality, illustrating how the art of adventure has continuously evolved.
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s timepieces are crafted for movement yet embody elegance, representing the brand’s dual expertise in performance and design. The exhibition features notable pieces such as the Geophysic, renowned for its accuracy and durability; the Memovox Deep Sea, recognized as the world’s first diving watch with an alarm function; and the Master Compressor Extreme LAB 2, which contains 569 components and includes a GMT display along with a power-reserve indicator.
A Journey Through Time and Craftsmanship
Visitors to the boutique can view significant timepieces from each era alongside the contemporary Polaris collection, which continues the brand’s legacy of sporty sophistication.
