Dakota Ditcheva to Face Denise Kielholtz on Feb. 7 in Dubai
UPDATE: PFL star Dakota Ditcheva is set to launch her 2026 season with an electrifying non-title flyweight bout against Denise Kielholtz on February 7, 2026, in Dubai. This matchup was confirmed by PFL officials just moments ago, heightening anticipation for the event, PFL: Road to Dubai.
The fight marks Ditcheva’s return to the octagon after being sidelined due to a broken hand sustained during her last appearance in July, where she achieved a decision victory over Sumiko Inaba. This will be her first fight in over half a year, and fans are eager to see how she bounces back from her injury. The 27-year-old from Manchester boasts an impressive record of 15-0 and is known for her striking prowess and resilience.
PFL: Road to Dubai is also notable for featuring a highly anticipated lightweight title fight headlined by Usman Nurmagomedov facing off against Alfie Davis. As the inaugural event on the PFL’s 2026 calendar, it promises to deliver thrilling matchups for fight enthusiasts.
Ditcheva’s last appearance was a pivotal moment in her career, as it marked the first time she went the distance, showcasing her ability to adapt and endure against formidable opponents like Taila Santos and Jena Bishop during her victorious 2024 PFL world tournament run. After her July fight, she signed a new, multi-fight contract with the PFL, signaling her commitment to the organization and her determination to continue her dominance in the flyweight division.
Kielholtz, a seasoned competitor with a record of 8-5, is a former professional kickboxer and a former Bellator MMA title challenger. She faced Julianna Velasquez in 2021 for the Bellator title but lost in a close split decision. This matchup against Ditcheva represents a significant opportunity for Kielholtz to demonstrate her skills in the PFL arena.
Fight fans are already buzzing with excitement over this matchup, and the stakes are high as both athletes aim to make a statement early in the year. With the PFL’s 2026 season kicking off in just a few weeks, all eyes will be on Dubai as these two fighters prepare to clash.
Stay tuned for further updates as the fight approaches, and mark your calendars for this thrilling event on February 7!
