14-Year-Old Killed in Chicago Shooting; Homicide Ruling Confirmed

UPDATE: A 14-year-old boy, identified as Armani Floyd, was tragically killed in a shooting in downtown Chicago during a chaotic “teen takeover” event on Friday night. His death has been officially ruled a homicide by the Cook County medical examiner.

Floyd succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 10:59 p.m. Friday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
