Fire Erupts at East Windsor Barn, Route 140 Shut Down

BREAKING: A devastating fire erupted at a barn in East Windsor in the early hours of Friday morning, causing significant disruption and extensive damage. The blaze ignited around 1:30 a.m. off Route 140, prompting immediate response from the Broad Brook Fire Department.

Firefighters arrived to find a “large” fire consuming the structure. To combat the flames, emergency crews shut down part of Route 140, also known as North Road, to access a nearby fire hydrant across the street. In addition, Main Street in the area of Wesley Road was blocked off as crews battled the inferno.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported. Fire officials confirmed that the roads were reopened by approximately 5 a.m. after the flames were controlled. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with authorities working to determine how the incident occurred.
