Broadway Stars Christine Ebersole, Billy Stritch Hit Philly Soon!
URGENT UPDATE: Renowned Broadway stars Christine Ebersole and Billy Stritch are set to electrify Philadelphia with two nights of unforgettable performances at the Broadway Cabaret on November 17 and 18, 2023. This highly anticipated event is part of the ongoing “Dinner and a Show” series at the Rittenhouse Grill, located in the Warwick Hotel in Rittenhouse Square.
The dynamic duo, who have captivated audiences since their first collaboration in the Broadway revival of 42nd Street in 2001, promise an eclectic mix of beloved American standards and golden-age Broadway hits. “We have such a great connection,” Stritch explains. “It’s almost like we’re sharing a brain.”
Ebersole, a two-time Tony Award winner, will also be featured in Bradley Cooper’s upcoming film, “Is This Thing On?”, set to release this December. Reflecting on her experience with Cooper, she shares, “It was an amazing experience. Bradley is just a man of great vision and great passion.”
The performances at the Broadway Cabaret will invite audiences into an intimate setting, where Ebersole describes it as “kind of like we’re inviting you into our living room for cocktails and fun.” Stritch notes that the show features renditions from legendary composers like Oscar Hammerstein and Richard Rogers, infused with their unique jazz flair.
