Two Dead in Horrific Lancaster County Collision; Witnesses Sought

URGENT UPDATE: Two lives were tragically lost in a head-on collision in West Lampeter Township late Friday night. The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office has identified the victims as Luke Debruin, 25, of Lancaster, and Terry Thomas, 64, of Hamburg.

At approximately 9:40 p.m. on July 14, 2023, police responded to a serious crash at the intersection of Lampeter Road and Paramount Avenue. The collision involved a Honda Civic driven by Debruin and a Nissan sedan carrying Thomas as a passenger. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, according to officials.

In addition to the fatalities, two other occupants in the Nissan were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, raising urgent questions in the community about road safety.
