UPDATE: Hundreds of eager runners kicked off their Thanksgiving morning at the 8th annual Turkey Trot held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, this morning. The event brought together participants of all ages, ready to tackle the 5K race around the iconic Rose Bowl Loop.

The race began at 8:00 AM on November 27, 2025, with runners donning Thanksgiving-themed costumes, including a notable participant dressed as a turkey. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as friends and families gathered, ready to support this community-driven event.

All entry fees directly benefited the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, ensuring that the funds support local initiatives. This year, the event partnered with the Pasadena Unified School District through the Pasadena Educational Foundation, also highlighting the Eaton Fire Response, connecting community spirit with important local causes.

Runners also had the option to bring their pets, making it a festive occasion for everyone involved. Participants were encouraged to celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving by dressing in creative costumes, enhancing the fun and vibrant atmosphere.
